The Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, ensuring an exceptional service experience from vehicle check-in through delivery.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally.
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document repair orders.
- Recommend maintenance and repair services based on vehicle needs.
- Communicate repair recommendations, costs, and timelines to customers.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely completion of repairs.
- Provide customers with regular updates regarding vehicle status.
- Review completed repairs and explain services performed at vehicle pick-up.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and build long-term customer relationships.
- Handle customer concerns and resolve issues in a professional manner.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with dealership policies.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive service advisor experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic automotive knowledge and understanding of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proficiency with dealership management systems is a plus.
