We are looking for a Service Engineer / Service Technician (m/f/d) to join us as soon as possible.

Your Responsibilities:

• Commissioning and installation: You independently carry out commissioning, installation, and maintenance work on airfield lighting systems and advanced visual docking guidance systems.
• On-site technical service: You work directly on aprons and taxiways at international airports and ensure the reliable operation of our systems.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving: You analyze technical faults, identify root causes, and develop sustainable solutions together with internal specialist departments.
• Customer support: You act as the technical point of contact for our customers and support them with questions relating to our products and systems.
• Technical support: You apply your expertise in PLC Step 7, switching and control technology, and basic programming, supporting customer-specific requirements.
• International collaboration: You work closely with colleagues from Service, Engineering, Sales, and Project Management to develop optimal solutions for our customers.
• Travel: You are willing to travel regularly within Germany and across Europe and to carry out assignments directly at customer sites.

Your Profile:

• Qualifications: You have completed a degree in electrical engineering, information technology, or a comparable field. Alternatively, you have completed further training as a technician or master craftsperson.
• Technical understanding: You have a good understanding of IT and are able to quickly grasp and apply technical concepts.
• Knowledge: Initial experience with PLC technology, switching and control systems, or basic programming is an advantage.
• Personality: You stand out through initiative, a sense of responsibility, team spirit, and an independent way of working.
• Language skills: You have very good written and spoken German and English skills.
• Mobility: A high willingness to travel completes your profile.
