Rabalais Constructors is seeking an experienced Electrical Service Manager in Corpus Christi, Texas. Service Management oversees the planning, execution, and maintenance of electrical systems, leads a team of electricians, ensures compliance with safety codes, and manages operational, financial, and customer service aspects of the department.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The Electrical Service Manager is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of electrical services. This role blends technical expertise with leadership and operational management, making it critical for both facility operations and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Training
  Hire, train, and manage electricians and technical staff; conduct weekly team meetings; mentor and develop staff skills

• Operational Management
  Oversee daily operations, including installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems; review and file project reports; coordinate emergency service requests 

• Compliance & Safety
  Ensure all work meets electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations; implement and monitor safety programs 

• Customer Service
  Serve as the primary contact for service-related client concerns; build and maintain strong client relationships; resolve complaints promptly 

• Financial & Resource Management
  Set and track departmental budgets; manage equipment, tools, and inventory; review project estimates for profitability 

• Process Improvement
  Develop and improve departmental policies and procedures; suggest initiatives to increase efficiency and revenue. 

• Collaboration
  Work with other facility leaders, executives, and subcontractors to align operations with company goals.

Qualifications:

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical: Experienced and strong knowledge of electrical codes and systems. 

• Leadership: Proven ability to manage and motivate technical teams; strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and time management abilities; ability to interact professionally with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Dependable and reliable
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Ability to travel, when needed.

• Operational: Experience in facility operations, project management, and safety compliance 

• Business: Budgeting, resource allocation, and cost-control skills
