Morrison Industries is looking for a full-time
Service Manager in Detroit, MI. This team member would be responsible for managing our service department, providing support to customers and technicians to ensure high quality service.Morrison Industries has a strict drug-free policy, and all employees will need to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical exam, background and driving record check. Employees are also subject to random drug screenings.This team member would work Monday-Friday, first shift hours, and work up to 50 hours a week.
Compensation ranges from 85k-100k with bonuses. Our Service Managers Typically Possess: - 10+ years of management experience
- Associate’s degree or higher
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Experience in dispatch services
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer skills, intermediate level, including experience with Microsoft Office 365
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
Essential Functions: - Processing of technician timecards and organizing weekly payroll.
- Opening, processing, and monitoring of work orders to ensure successful and efficient service.
- Proactively contacting customers to provide repair status of units.
- Debriefing with technicians at the conclusion of each day for the purpose of efficient scheduling.
- Repair estimate preparation, presentation, and processing.
- Processing of warranty claims.
- Answering phones and assisting customers with a positive customer focused attitude.
- Assisting with rental inquiries, quotations, set-up and deliveries.
- Intermediate level computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Additional duties, as assigned.
