Service Repair Technician

Pay Range: $34-$37 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Service and/or repair vacuum trucks and other types of heavy equipment 
• Troubleshoot and evaluate various mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Perform some welding and fabrication as required (mig, stick, plasma, torch cutting)
• Read and understand technical instructions (blueprints, hydraulic schematics, diagrams and work instructions
• Operate overhead crane, hoist, forklift, and miscellaneous air and electric hand tools and measuring instruments as required to perform repairs and maintenance
• Complete shop maintenance during down time 
• Enter jobs into computer system in alignment with company processes 
• Communicate updates on equipment to Supervisor
• Order parts 
• Work in alignment with all company and OSHA safety policies

Requirements:

• Ability to assemble components per drawings and/or verbal or written instructions.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and diagnose all systems related to a complete vacuumsystem.
• Strong ability to perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical applications,maintain a clean and safe workplace, must work in a manner deemed safe for selfand others.
• Willingness to work overtime when requested.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of mechanical assembly experience with strong mechanicalaptitude is required. Ability to read blue prints, hydraulic schematics, diagrams,and work instructions pro
