Service Sales Representative at AGM
The Service Sales Representative is responsible for growing commercial glazing service sales while managing projects from initial customer contact through completion. This role combines customer relationship development, technical knowledge of glazing systems, estimating, and project management to deliver quality work while maintaining profitability.
Role Expectations and Competencies
Develop customer relationships, identify service opportunities, and grow sales for commercial glazing repair, replacement, and installation work.
Conduct site visits to assess customer needs, evaluate existing conditions, determine project scope, and recommend appropriate glazing solutions.
Prepare estimates and proposals using knowledge of glazing systems, materials, labor, and installation requirements to maintain project profitability.
Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and hardware cut sheets to determine glass sizes, material requirements, and fabrication needs.
Manage service projects from initial customer contact through material procurement, scheduling, installation, and closeout.
Coordinate with customers, field crews, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Monitor project costs, maintain customer relationships, and identify additional opportunities to support continued business growth.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to quality while contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Experience in commercial glazing, architectural glass and metal, curtainwall, storefront, or commercial door and entrance systems.
Experience in service sales, estimating, or project management within commercial construction.
Working knowledge of glazing materials, hardware, fabrication, and installation processes.
Ability to read construction drawings and specifications and assess project requirements.
Strong communication, relationship-building, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project tracking tools.
Ability to maintain a clean driving record.
Ability to perform additional duties as assigned.
