HireLevel is seeking a Service Technician for our client in Marion, IL
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Service Technician to assist with vehicle maintenance and repairs. This position is ideal for someone with basic automotive service knowledge who enjoys hands-on work and is willing to learn.
The ideal candidate has mechanical knowledge, a strong work ethic, and the flexibility to work a rotating schedule with potential overtime opportunities.
Job Title: Service Technician
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Marion, IL
Shift: Four 12-hour shifts, currently Friday–Monday, with three days off (schedule subject to change)
Training: Two weeks of training before beginning the regular shift schedule
Pay: $20/hr.

Responsibilities
- Assist with general vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Identify basic mechanical issues and perform necessary service work
- Use hand tools and equipment to complete assigned repairs
- Inspect vehicles and report maintenance concerns
- Follow established safety procedures and service standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work with team members to complete repairs efficiently
- Assist with additional service duties as needed
Requirements
Basic knowledge of automotive service and repair required
Familiarity with automotive tools and equipment
Ability to follow instructions and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues
Willingness to learn and complete required training
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to perform hands-on physical work
Availability to work four 12-hour shifts and overtime when needed
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
