As a Service Technician, you'll play a critical role in keeping our customers' operations running safely and efficiently. You'll diagnose, repair and maintain industry-leading underground mining equipment while working with the latest technology and digital solutions. Every day brings new challenges, opportunities to develop your skills, and the satisfaction of solving complex technical problems.

Whether you're in the workshop or on-site with customers, you'll be part of a team that's passionate about safety, innovation and delivering exceptional service.

What you'll be doing

• Perform scheduled servicing, breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance on underground mining equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools.
• Carry out repairs efficiently to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
• Build strong relationships with customers by providing outstanding technical support and practical solutions.
• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety, quality and environmental compliance.
• Continue developing your technical knowledge through ongoing training and exposure to new equipment and technologies.

About You

You'll be someone who enjoys getting hands-on, solving problems and takes pride in delivering quality work.

You'll also bring:

• Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Plant Mechanic or similar.
• Experience working on heavy mobile equipment, mining, construction or earthmoving machinery (highly regarded).
• Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills across hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.
• A strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.
• A willingness to continue learning and embracing new technologies.
