Responsibilities:
Hamilton Robotics is seeking a Service Technician to join our Robotics team, supporting, repairing, and maintaining robotic instrumentation. As a Service Technician with Hamilton Company you will be tasked with providing high quality repairs of electromechanical systems for customers as well as for internal company use.
Other Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair Hamilton equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance.
Report problems and perform root cause analysis on instrument failures.
Fill out paperwork and reports related to any repair work.
Manage work station inventory for commonly used repair parts.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A high desire for quality.
Demonstrated experience working in production as well as an office setting.
Ability and willingness to work in a safety conscious manner necessary due to potential hazardous chemicals and biologicals.
Ability to learn new robotic operating systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
Education/Experience:
An Associate’s Degree in Engineering Technology or comparable is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years Technician experience, preferably in the biotech / life science field.
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move approximately 60 lbs.
