Service Technician

Responsibilities: 

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures 
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment 
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. 
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications 
• Provide Dealership level of quality, cleanliness, and care on every vehicle

Qualifications: 

• CERTIFICATIONS & previous experience at an automotive dealership (preferred but not mandatory) 
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to participate in in-house trianing
• Ability to operate all auto repair tolls
• Basic computer skill
• Strong communication skills
• Physical strength and stamina, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Safety Management, Problem Solving, Dealing with Complexity, Analyzing Information
• Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance. 
• Clean driving record
