We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Tire Installer Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will specialize in tire maintenance, replacement, and repair, ensuring our customers have a safe and smooth driving experience. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment.
Mount, balance, and install tires on customer and dealership vehicles safely and efficiently.
Perform tire rotations, flat tire repairs, and computerized wheel balancing.
Inspect tires for uneven wear, damage, and tread depth, reporting findings to Service Advisors.
Set tire pressures to manufacturer specifications and reset Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS).
Safely operate automotive lifts, tire mounting machines, and wheel balancers.
Assist in organizing and maintaining the tire inventory and storage areas.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, following all shop safety protocols.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Physical ability to consistently lift and move heavy tires (up to 50+ lbs) and stand for extended periods.
Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
Excellent team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Eagerness to learn and follow specific repair procedures and specifications.
Previous experience in tire installation or general automotive maintenance.
Experience operating tire mounting and balancing equipment.
Familiarity with Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS).
