Position Overview

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Tire Installer Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will specialize in tire maintenance, replacement, and repair, ensuring our customers have a safe and smooth driving experience. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Mount, balance, and install tires on customer and dealership vehicles safely and efficiently.

  • Perform tire rotations, flat tire repairs, and computerized wheel balancing.

  • Inspect tires for uneven wear, damage, and tread depth, reporting findings to Service Advisors.

  • Set tire pressures to manufacturer specifications and reset Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS).

  • Safely operate automotive lifts, tire mounting machines, and wheel balancers.

  • Assist in organizing and maintaining the tire inventory and storage areas.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, following all shop safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

  • Physical ability to consistently lift and move heavy tires (up to 50+ lbs) and stand for extended periods.

  • Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

  • Excellent team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

  • Eagerness to learn and follow specific repair procedures and specifications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in tire installation or general automotive maintenance.

  • Experience operating tire mounting and balancing equipment.

  • Familiarity with Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS).
