Service–Warranty Technician (Second Shift)

We’re expanding our team and looking for an experienced, customer‑focused Second Shift Service–Warranty Technician to support our evening and weekend warranty operations. This role is designed for technicians who want stable hours, minimal overnight workload, and zero on‑call chaos, while still delivering exceptional service to homeowners.
This role is responsible for delivering a top‑tier homeowner experience while installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting plumbing systems and fixtures in residential settings. You’ll ensure all work meets code, safety standards, and company expectations while providing clear communication, accurate documentation, and dependable service. Schedule & Compensation
- Tuesday through Saturday
- 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week
- Top pay for top experience (structured to avoid overtime and eliminate on‑call frustrations)
- Most nights involve light call volume
- Saturday: paid full day; dispatched only for emergency warranty calls
- No traditional on‑call rotation

The Experience We’d Love To See:
- High School Diploma preferred
- Two years of construction, plumbing, management, or inspection experience
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, email, and service software
- Strong organizational and planning abilities
- Confidence in coaching or guiding others when needed
- Ability to maintain professionalism and boundaries in a team environment
- Proven success driving operational efficiency and client satisfaction
What You’ll Get To Do:
- Provide exceptional customer service, answer homeowner questions, and explain repairs and maintenance
- Assist with estimating for service jobs, including identifying repair needs and communicating scope
- Deliver Fanatical Customer Service on every interaction
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures including pipes, valves, faucets, toilets, bathtubs, dishwashers, and water heaters
- Diagnose and troubleshoot leaks, clogs, pressure issues, and system malfunctions
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure safe, efficient operation
- Respond to emergency calls such as burst pipes, major leaks, and severe blockages
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate service logs
- Ensure all work complies with plumbing codes, safety standards, and inspection requirements
- Keep tools, equipment, and service vehicles organized and properly stocked

● Two years’ applicable construction, plumbing, management, or inspector experience
● Computer and tablet literate. Able to use smart phone, email, software applications
