Service Writer II | 2nd Shift

Primary Job Duties:

• Daily service writer tasks such as handling breakdowns, assigning work to mechanics as well as weekend coverage as needed
• Managing inoperative equipment at the G&D facilities
• Working with operations to get needed equipment in for services/repairs
• Assist in training new mechanics and verifying work
• Helps technicians with diagnostics and repair issues
• Monitoring and improving efficiencies/workflows in the shop
• Assist shop manager with employee issues
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and a minimum 1-3 years of experience in a commercial maintenance shop is required which includes hands on mechanical experience.
• Experience using standard office equipment; Maintenance software, Email and Microsoft Office Applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point.
• Basic knowledge of statistics, data collection, analysis and data presentation would be useful.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, problem solving and customer service skills are a must.

• Pay Range: $18 /HR DOB
