ServiceNow ATF Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Assist in creating, executing, and maintaining automated test cases using ServiceNow ATF.
Perform manual and automated functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
Test ServiceNow forms, workflows, catalog items, UI policies, and basic platform configurations.
Assist in validating ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
Execute test cases for ServiceNow enhancements, updates, patches, and releases.
Prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test execution reports.
Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or ServiceNow.
Assist in troubleshooting failed ATF test cases and maintaining existing automated test scripts.
Perform basic REST API testing using Postman, with guidance from senior team members.
Work with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and sprint reviews.
Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression testing activities.
Follow established QA processes, testing standards, and documentation practices.
Required Skills

Basic understanding of software testing concepts, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
Basic knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and ITSM modules.
Familiarity with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF), preferably with hands-on experience creating or executing test cases.
Ability to understand requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
Understanding of ServiceNow forms, workflows, catalog items, and platform configurations.
Basic knowledge of defect tracking tools such as JIRA or ServiceNow.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Willingness to learn test automation and expand knowledge of ServiceNow modules.
