Job Description
We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a ServiceNow Business Systems Analyst (BSA) for a prominent client of ours. This position is On-site in North Chicago, IL. Details of the position are as follows:
Job Details:
- Pay: $53 - $57/hr. 1-year, possible extension.
- This role will support the ServiceNow platform used by the Cybersecurity Vendor Risk Management and Business Continuity teams.
- This person will work closely with GRC, Vendor Risk Management, Business Continuity, infrastructure, and development teams.
- Responsibilities include managing ServiceNow tickets, gathering requirements, coordinating UAT, and providing regular project updates.
- There are multiple stakeholder meetings each week, so candidates must be comfortable leading discussions and presenting updates.
- Must have a good understanding of release cycles and/or migrations.
Required:
- Strong hands-on ServiceNow experience, particularly from a Business Analyst/BSA perspective. Must understand how the platform works, troubleshoot issues, and communicate effectively with developers and business stakeholders.
- Must understand release cycles and data migrations. Will works on roughly 3-month release cycles, and needs to understand how changes, enhancements, testing, and migrations are managed.
- Experience gathering requirements, troubleshooting incidents, identifying defects, and coordinating enhancements. Must be comfortable conducting UAT and working through issues with developers.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management. Must be able to bridge the gap between technical developers and business users, lead meetings, provide status updates, and explain technical issues in terms that the business understands.
- Must be a curious problem-solver who can investigate root causes, ask the right questions, and push back when necessary.
- 100% onsite, 5 days a week. Must be within a commutable distance and committed to the full 1-year contract.
Nice to Haves:
- GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) experience, particularly cybersecurity vendor risk management, third-party risk, business continuity, or disaster recovery.
- ServiceNow administration, configuration, or implementation experience.
- Scrum, ServiceNow, or PMP certifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Audit or compliance experience.
