ServiceNow ITSM Integration SME

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ServiceNow ITSM integrations.
• Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and third-party applications.
• Develop and maintain integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, webhooks, IntegrationHub, and MID Server.
• Configure and support IntegrationHub spokes, Flow Designer, REST/SOAP integrations, Import Sets, and Transform Maps.
• Integrate ServiceNow ITSM with monitoring, event management, CMDB, asset management, identity, cloud, and other enterprise platforms.
• Support integrations for Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and Configuration Management processes.
• Analyze integration requirements and define appropriate integration architecture and data flows.
• Map data fields between ServiceNow and external applications.
• Configure authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, basic authentication, certificates, and API keys.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, data synchronization issues, API errors, and performance problems.
• Monitor integration health and proactively identify and resolve recurring failures.
• Work with application and infrastructure teams to investigate and resolve integration issues.
• Develop technical specifications, integration design documents, interface mapping documents, and support procedures.
• Lead integration testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production implementation activities.
• Support ServiceNow upgrades and ensure existing integrations remain compatible.
• Review integration designs and provide technical guidance to ServiceNow developers and support teams.
• Ensure integrations follow ServiceNow best practices, security standards, and enterprise architecture guidelines.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management activities related to integrations.
• Provide L3 support for complex integration-related issues.

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow integration capabilities.
• Experience with:

o REST and SOAP APIs

o IntegrationHub

o Flow Designer

o MID Server

o Import Sets

o Transform Maps

o Scripted REST APIs

Salary Range- $95,000-$120,000 a year
