ServiceNow SAM Developer

Responsibilities: for the ServiceNow SAM Developer include: Configure and enhance ServiceNow SAM Pro, SaaS Management, and integrations with Hardware Asset Management Develop software entitlement models, normalization rules, license reconciliation processes, and compliance reporting Automate software requests, allocation, reclamation, renewals, and retirement using Flow Designer and scoped applications Create and maintain platform functionality through Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Service Portal components Build integrations, data imports, transform maps, and scheduled jobs connecting discovery, procurement, and vendor systems Maintain accurate asset records and CMDB relationships while developing dashboards and audit reports Support migration from BMC Helix/Remedy by gathering requirements and translating existing workflows into ServiceNow solutions Test and troubleshoot enhancements, manage update sets, support platform upgrades, and document solutions for knowledge transfer Required Qualifications for the ServiceNow SAM Developer include: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Engineering, or a related field and 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree and 6+ years; additional experience may substitute for a degree 4+ years of ServiceNow development experience using JavaScript, Glide APIs, HTML, and XML Hands-on expertise with ServiceNow Software Asset Management, including software licensing, entitlements, normalization, and reconciliation Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and API integrations Knowledge of ITAM capabilities, including SAM/HAM, and ITOM functionality such as CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping Experience supporting enterprise ServiceNow implementations and platform governance Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification Current CompTIA Security+ or another qualifying DoD baseline certification Strong communication, technical documentation, and collaboration skills Must be eligible to obtain a Secret security clearance Preferred Qualifications for the ServiceNow SAM Developer include: Master's degree in IT or a related discipline ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Certified Implementation Specialist in ITSM ITIL 4 Foundation certification Experience with BMC Helix or BMC Remedy Familiarity with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework, Now Assist, or AI agents Qualifications: for the ServiceNow SAM Developer include: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Engineering, or a related field and 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree and 6+ years; additional experience may substitute for a degree 4+ years of ServiceNow development experience using JavaScript, Glide APIs, HTML, and XML Hands-on expertise with ServiceNow Software Asset Management, including software licensing, entitlements, normalization, and reconciliation Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and API integrations Knowledge of ITAM capabilities, including SAM/HAM, and ITOM functionality such as CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping Experience supporting enterprise ServiceNow implementations and platform governance Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification Current CompTIA Security+ or another qualifying DoD baseline certification Strong communication, technical documentation, and collaboration skills Must be eligible to obtain a Secret security clearance Preferred Qualifications for the ServiceNow SAM Developer include: Master's degree in IT or a related discipline ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Certified Implementation Specialist in ITSM ITIL 4 Foundation certification Experience with BMC Helix or BMC Remedy Familiarity with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework, Now Assist, or AI agents Compensation: for the ServiceNow SAM Developer includes: Salary Range: $150,000-$160,000 annually, depending on experience Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Sick Leave as Required by Law This job opens for applications on 10/23/2026.
