Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to drive the transformation of the Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) platform across Professional Services, Advanced Services, and Support portfolios. This role will focus on optimizing the end-to-end quote-to-cash lifecycle by translating complex business requirements into scalable system configurations, workflows, and application requirements.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with services scoping, pricing, and quoting within a CPQ platform, along with a strong understanding of subscription models, billing processes, and cross-functional business systems. The role involves close collaboration with Customer Experience, Services, Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, and IT teams to improve operational efficiency, data integrity, scalability, and revenue outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Services Scoping, Configuration & Quoting –Primary Focus

Own business process and workflow design, along with application requirements, for how services are scoped, configured, priced, and quoted within the CPQ platform.
Translate business requirements and service briefs into CPQ configurations, including product catalog placement, pricing structures, approval thresholds, and subscription or billing setup.
Lead requirements gathering for new and updated service offerings across the end-to-end quote-to-cash lifecycle, partnering with Portfolio Management, SKU Operations, Finance, and IT.
Support the introduction of new service SKUs by ensuring clear requirements for service scope, pricing, approvals, billing, and delivery.
Partner with IT to establish scalable, configuration-driven processes for onboarding new services and updating existing offerings, minimizing the need for custom development.
Ensure services are accurately represented and transactable within CPQ, with appropriate alignment between quoting, billing, and revenue recognition processes.

2. Billing & Order Management –Secondary Focus

Support business requirements and future-state workflow design across CPQ, Zuora Billing, ServiceNow Order Management (SOM), and ServiceNow CRM.
Conduct current-state and future-state (As-Is/To-Be) analysis to validate business processes across pricing, discounting, approvals, order management, subscription creation, and billing.
Validate cross-system business logic, data flows, and process dependencies to support accurate order processing and billing.
Partner with IT teams to validate system builds against approved requirements and solution designs.
Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution, coordinate defect triage, and ensure business requirements are met before deployment.

3. Business Partnership & Program Management

Serve as a trusted business partner to Customer Experience, Advanced Services, Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, and IT leadership.
Evaluate business requests based on revenue impact, profitability, compliance, operational efficiency, and long-term system scalability.
Challenge requirements when necessary and recommend alternative solutions that align with business objectives and platform best practices.
Manage competing priorities across multiple workstreams within a strategic transformation program.
Maintain process maps, business requirements, decision logs, and requirements traceability documentation.
Review IT epics and user stories to ensure alignment with business requirements and intended outcomes.
Facilitate cross-functional discussions to resolve process gaps, clarify requirements, and drive decisions.

Required Qualifications

5–7+ years of experience as a Senior Business Systems Analyst, Functional Consultant, or Transformation Lead.
Direct experience with CPQ platforms, particularly in scoping, configuring, pricing, or quoting Professional Services, Advanced Services, or subscription-based offerings.
Strong understanding of the quote-to-cash lifecycle, including service configuration, pricing, approvals, order management, and billing.
Experience gathering and translating complex business requirements into functional specifications, workflows, and scalable system solutions.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams, including Sales, Services, Finance, and IT.
Experience supporting large-scale transformation programs, process redesign, and cross-functional initiatives.
Strong documentation, facilitation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with process mapping tools such as Lucidchart, Visio, or Miro and Agile project management tools such as Jira.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience implementing or supporting Zuora Billing, including subscriptions, invoicing, and billing reconciliation.
Familiarity with ServiceNow Order Management (SOM) and ServiceNow CRM.
Background in Professional Services delivery, operations, pricing, or quoting, including Statements of Work (SOWs) and service cost or margin models.
Experience integrating CPQ, billing, and ServiceNow platforms with ERP, subscription management, or revenue recognition systems.
Experience supporting global implementations or platform rollouts.
Relevant certifications in Salesforce CPQ, Zuora, or ServiceNow.
