Kforce has a client that is seeking a Services Project Manager in Alvisio, CA.
Overview:
We are seeking a Project Manager with experience with Services, service contracts, and renewals to support distributor transitions resulting from changes to our distribution strategy. This role will lead cross-functional coordination to assess and mitigate the impact of distributor terminations on existing service contracts, customer support obligations, and renewal opportunities.
The ideal candidate combines strong project management skills with services and renewals expertise, critical thinking, and the ability to identify risks, evaluate alternatives, and drive practical solutions in a complex, cross-functional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional activities to assess and manage the impact of distributor terminations on existing service contracts, renewal opportunities, and ongoing customer support
- Partner with Services, Renewals, Sales, Channel Operations, Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders to identify risks, dependencies, and transition requirements
- Evaluate impacted contracts and renewal opportunities, identify potential solutions, and facilitate decisions to ensure appropriate ownership and continuity of services
- Develop and drive mitigation plans for complex transition scenarios, including contract transfers, renewal ownership changes, and alternative fulfillment or support arrangements, as appropriate
- Manage project plans, milestones, action items, risks, and escalations to ensure timely execution and stakeholder alignment
- Identify process gaps, proactively resolve issues, and recommend scalable solutions to support successful distributor transitions while minimizing business and customer impact
Requirements:
- Experience in project management, preferably within Services, service contracts, renewals, or channel operations
- Working knowledge of services and renewals processes, including service contract lifecycles, renewal opportunities, and the operational implications of partner or distributor changes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex scenarios, evaluate options, and recommend actionable solutions
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence stakeholders, and drive resolution without direct authority
- Excellent communication, organization, risk management, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in the IT industry, including compute, servers, storage, or networking, and working with distributors or channel partners, is preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
