Machine Setup Operator – Job DescriptionPosition Summary: The Machine Setup Operator is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating production equipment to ensure efficient manufacturing and consistent product quality. This role involves preparing machines for production runs, adjusting settings, loading materials, troubleshooting equipment issues, and performing quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.Key Responsibilities:Set up and prepare production machinery for scheduled manufacturing runs.Install and adjust machine components, guides, rollers, and other tooling as required.Configure machine settings according to job specifications and production requirements.Load materials and ensure proper alignment for accurate production.Perform test runs and make necessary adjustments before full production.Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain product quality.Inspect finished products for accuracy, consistency, and defects.Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues to minimize downtime.Perform routine equipment cleaning and preventative maintenance.Maintain production records and follow safety procedures.Qualifications:Previous experience setting up and operating production machinery.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Ability to follow work instructions and production specifications.Experience using measuring tools and performing quality inspections.Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Willingness to assist with general production duties as needed.
