We are a fast-growing plaintiff-side Lemon Law firm seeking a highly motivated Settlement Coordinator to effectively manage our client cases through the settlement process. This is a critical, client-facing role focused on delivering excellent client experience while serving as the primary point of contact for our clients through the phases of settlement.In this role, you will communicate directly with clients to guide them through the process, gather key documentation, coordinate vehicle surrenders, and communicate with opposing parties to ensure timely receipt of settlement funds. Given the high volume of cases, this role requires strong organization, attention to detail, responsiveness, and the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the settlement phase, providing clear, timely, and professional communication while maintaining a high level of client service
Coordinate and schedule vehicle surrenders with clients and vehicle manufacturers
Calculate statutory vehicle repurchase amounts using Microsoft Excel based on applicable case information and supporting documentation
Review settlement terms and draft accurate disbursal letters reflecting the settlement terms and other relevant case information
Monitor settlement progress and proactively follow up on outstanding items to ensure timely resolution
Request, collect, and review settlement-related documentation and process according to our operating procedures
Maintain accurate and organized records within the firm’s case management system
Identify and escalate delays, discrepancies, or issues in the settlement process to the appropriate attorney or supervisor
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Fluency in Spanish is required
2+ year of experience in a legal, customer service, accounting or client-facing role (law firm experience preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including using spreadsheets and formulas to calculate settlement distributions and payment allocations
Comfortable working with numbers and financial information, including reviewing settlement amounts, payment allocations, and disbursement calculations for accuracy
Experience utilizing case management and/or CRM software is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with clients, attorneys, and other third parties
Highly detail-oriented with the ability to accurately review, track, and manage information on a high-volume of cases
