Position: Salesforce Project Manager /Salesforce Business Analyst
Location: Palo Alto, CA (Preferred)
Duration: 5+ months
Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end Salesforce project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with Salesforce administrators, developers, architects, and third-party vendors.
• Develop and maintain project plans covering resource allocation, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Manage change requests through impact analysis and approval processes.
• Ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices, governance, and security standards.
• Provide status updates and executive-level reporting on project progress, risks, and dependencies.
• Support user adoption through training, change management, and stakeholder communications.
• Serve as an escalation point for project-related issues.
• Support post-go-live hypercare, production defect triage, and enhancement requests through structured release management.
• Demonstrate functional knowledge of SaaS contract amendments, including add-ons, upsells, downgrades, early renewals, cancellations, and co-terming.
• Partner with Sales Operations, Customer Success, and Finance to define SaaS and recurring-revenue metrics, including ARR/MRR, churn, net revenue retention, and renewal rates.
• Translate business metrics and requirements into Salesforce system reporting.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of project management experience, including at least 5 years managing Salesforce projects.
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and CPQ.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Scrum Master or PMP certification.
• Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, Project Manager, or Consultant certification.
• Experience with Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
• Familiarity with Salesforce integration tools.
• Exposure to release management and DevOps tools.
