Shared Physical Education Teacher

Shepherd of the Hills Catholic School and St. Matthew''s School in Campbellsport is seeking a shared physical education teacher for the 2026-27 school year. The ideal candidate is an effective and confident instructor with strong classroom management skills and proficiently communicates with colleagues and families.

The teacher will:

• Possess a love for physical education and children
• Organize, plan, and prepare physical education lessons for 3K-8 students by using creative and engaging teaching strategies that teach to the whole child using the physical education curriculum guidelines established by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.
• Teach students various physical activities, sports, and games to promote physical fitness and overall well-being.
• Provide instruction on proper techniques, rules, and safety precautions for different physical activities.
• Assess student performance and provide feedback to help students improve their skills and abilities.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and teamwork.
• Monitor student behavior and enforce discipline when necessary to maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to coordinate physical education programs and events.
• Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns.

Qualifications include:

• Practicing Catholic preferred
• Wisconsin Physical Education Teaching License
• Strong classroom management
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of professional, ethical, and confidential behavior
• Proven ability to work effectively with others
• Strong communication and organizational skills
