IDR is seeking a SharePoint Developer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in McKinney, TX. This role involves designing, developing, and supporting SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 solutions to enhance business collaboration and automation within a government organization. The position offers a dynamic environment where technical expertise directly impacts operational efficiency and compliance.
Position Overview for the SharePoint Developer:
- The SharePoint Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting SharePoint Online environments and related Microsoft 365 technologies.
- This role includes managing site collections, permissions, workflows, and integrations with Power Platform solutions.
- The developer will collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable, secure solutions for improved business productivity.
- The position demands expertise in administering SharePoint and Microsoft 365, with a focus on governance, security, and compliance.
- Providing operational support, troubleshooting, and end-user training will be key components of the role.
Requirements for the SharePoint Developer:
- 4+ years of experience administering SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server in an enterprise environment
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Proven experience with permissions, security groups, retention, and compliance
- Hands-on experience with PowerShell for SharePoint and Microsoft 365 automation
- Experience designing information architecture, metadata, and content management strategies
