Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Sheet Laser Operator to join our experienced production team. The successful candidate will operate and maintain sheet laser cutting machines to efficiently manufacture high-quality components. This position requires keen attention to detail, technical aptitude, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate sheet laser cutting machines to cut, shape, and manipulate sheet metal according to specifications.
Set up and adjust machine controls for different jobs, ensuring precision and efficiency.
Interpret technical drawings and work from detailed blueprints to produce accurate parts.
Perform regular maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct inspections to verify conformance to specifications, adjusting settings as necessary.
Collaborate closely with the production team to meet daily production targets.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or manufacturing preferred.
Proven experience as a Laser Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology and ability to read technical drawings.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
