Sheet Metal Grinding & Finishing Operator

Job Description:

The Staffing Ninja is seeking a Sheet Metal Grinding & Finishing Operator responsible for grinding welds, smoothing surfaces, and performing finishing work on precision sheet metal components, primarily aluminum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Grind and blend welds to achieve smooth, consistent finishes.
• Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections.
• Perform cosmetic and surface finishing on aluminum and other metal parts.
• Operate hand grinders, sanders, and other finishing tools.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and workmanship standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Qualifications:

• Experience grinding and finishing sheet metal preferred.
• Familiarity with aluminum finishing techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Compensation varies based on experience- there is a wide range.
