Position Overview:

CCS Construction Staffing is seeking a dependable Sheet Metal Shop Helper to assist with HVAC duct fabrication and assembly in a manufacturing/shop environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the sheet metal trade while gaining hands-on experience in ductwork production and shop operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with HVAC ductwork fabrication and assembly
• Support alteration and repair of sheet metal products and equipment
• Gather, organize, and stage materials for production
• Assist with operating hand tools and shop equipment
• Support cutting, forming, insulating, sealing, and assembling ductwork components
• Follow supervisor instructions and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements:

• Construction, manufacturing, warehouse, or sheet metal experience preferred
• Ability to use basic hand tools safely and effectively
• Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
• No blueprint reading experience required
• Reliable transportation required
• Must be available and willing to work overtime
• Strong attendance record and work ethic
• Must be eligible for a temp-to-hire opportunity
• No language barrier

Dress Code / PPE Requirements:

• Work boots required (no tennis shoes)
• Work pants required (no sweatpants)
• T-shirts permitted

Compliance Requirements:

• 9-Panel Drug Screen
• E-Verify
• 7-Year Criminal Background Check
• All required compliance documentation must be completed and submitted for client approval
