H&G Systems is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Superintendent to lead field operations across multiple commercial and industrial projects throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

What You'll Do

As a Sheet Metal Superintendent, you will oversee multiple projects while ensuring quality workmanship, workforce productivity, safety compliance, and successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage sheet metal operations across multiple commercial and industrial construction projects
• Oversee manpower planning, workforce allocation, scheduling, and production goals
• Coordinate with project managers, foremen, fabrication teams, and subcontractors to ensure project success
• Verify installations meet project specifications, drawings, quality standards, and SMACNA requirements
• Monitor project progress and proactively resolve field-related issues
• Coordinate material procurement, fabrication schedules, and jobsite logistics
• Conduct site visits to ensure safety, quality, and productivity expectations are met
• Mentor and develop foremen, lead installers, and field personnel
• Support hiring, training, and workforce development initiatives
• Maintain strong communication with customers, project teams, and company leadership

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial and industrial sheet metal installation and fabrication experience
• 3+ years of leadership experience as a Leadman, Foreman, Superintendent, or similar role
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC ductwork systems and SMACNA standards
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and field crews simultaneously
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, shop drawings, and mechanical plans
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience overseeing large commercial, healthcare, industrial, or data center projects
• OSHA 30 Certification
• Experience with BIM coordination and construction technology platforms
• Background in workforce development and field leadership training
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes and shop-to-field coordination
