Pepperonis Houston Heights is looking for an energetic and dependable Shift Lead to join our team in Houston, TX! Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily shift operations to ensure smooth, efficient service from open to close
• Lead, motivate, and support team members during shifts to maintain high performance
• Monitor food quality, prep, and presentation to uphold restaurant standards
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism
• Assist with cash handling, drawer counts, and end-of-shift reporting
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health code regulations
• Coordinate staffing coverage and delegate tasks effectively throughout the shift

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a restaurant, food service, or hospitality environment required
• Prior supervisory or shift lead experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced setting
• Basic math skills and comfort with cash handling and POS systems
• Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Reliable, punctual, and a positive team-first attitude
