Overview

The Shift Manager plays a vital leadership role within each Dunkin' location, directly supporting the Store Manager and team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. This hands-on position involves overseeing store operations during assigned shifts, coaching team members, driving efficiency, and ensuring compliance with company policies and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Culture

• Supervise and motivate team members throughout the shift to deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Assign roles and responsibilities based on crew strengths and shift needs.
• Communicate expectations, provide real-time feedback, and recognize achievements.
• Foster a respectful and positive work environment, aligned with company values.

Training & Development

• Support the onboarding and training of new Crew Members.
• Reinforce the use of tools, procedures, and training systems during shifts.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and help team members develop their skills.

Operational Execution

• Monitor shift execution to ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
• Lead shift deployment to meet service standards and customer demand.
• Ensure marketing initiatives and restaurant standards are properly executed.
• Report equipment issues and support basic troubleshooting where applicable.

Guest Service & Problem Solving

• Role model a guest-first attitude, responding promptly and professionally to concerns.
• Drive a sense of urgency to exceed guest expectations.
• Resolve in-the-moment challenges with sound judgment and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in quick-service, fast food, or hospitality preferred
• Prior supervisory or shift leadership experience strongly encouraged
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead by example and hold team members accountable
