Journey of Hope-LTFC Shift Supervisor Reports to: Program Manager Hours: Full Time position – 40 hours per week Shifts: Afternoon. Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday HFI Mission Duties: Holy Family Institute (HFI) is a 120-year-old Catholic organization with an impeccable history of serving children and families in the Pittsburgh Region. We are one of Pittsburgh’s largest social service organizations operating 15 programs in two counties. We are an independent organization guided by Catholic Social Teachings and serving people of all faiths and backgrounds. General Statement of Duties: The Shift Supervisor assists the Program Manager in performing administrative and supervisory functions, which are necessary for the operation of the Journey of Hope (UC-Unaccompanied Alien Children) LTFC program. From alternative learning environments and career training, to families in need of support and counseling – including help with addiction, alcoholism and other debilitating problems – Holy Family is here. The families we serve often have experienced significant trauma in their lives and need caring and support in order to heal. For this reason, Holy Family maintains a trauma-sensitive culture by utilizing The Sanctuary Model throughout our programs and services. Sanctuary gives a common language to our leadership, staff and clients so we can create an environment that is safe so that healing can occur.
In order to accomplish our mission to serve children and families and crisis, we work to generate funding for our programs and collaborate with community leaders and organizations to tap the best resources available to serve them. We provide care within the community to ensure that families have all the tools they need to thrive, with easier access to the resources they need to establish personal responsibility and stability.
