Shipper - Night Shift

Under direct supervision, responsible for picking, packing, and loading steel tube and pipe while adhering to established procedures and quality standards. Operates standard warehouse equipment to ensure efficient material handling.

Shift: 6pm - 6am. 4 days on, 4 days off rotation

Job Responsibilities

• Champions and enforces safe work practices in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Prepares materials, products, and equipment for distribution and shipment.

• Processes and fulfills orders from customers and internal teams.

• Picks, packs, and stages orders, verifying accuracy using scanning tools.

• Loads shipments onto flatbed trucks or LTL carriers.

• Receives, inspects, and processes incoming materials, reporting any damages.

• Replenishes warehouse stock and rotates inventory using a reach truck or forklift.

• Operates forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, and walkie rider pallet jacks to move materials efficiently.

• Standardizes and optimizes shipping and receiving procedures for accuracy and efficiency.

• Performs additional duties as assigned.

• Regular, full-time onsite attendance is required.

Education / Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in steel or tubing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge / Skills / Competencies

• Basic math skills for accurate order processing.

• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Problem-solving ability to address warehouse challenges.

• High attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and quality standards.
