Job Description

OneSource Staffing Solutions is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver for a client in Hatfield, PA. This position is responsible for receiving incoming materials, preparing customer orders for shipment, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring all shipments are packaged and processed correctly.

The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working with computers and shipping systems, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities and identifying information against purchase orders and packing slips.

• Document incoming materials and report discrepancies or damaged items.

• Prepare, package, and ship customer orders according to shipping instructions.

• Verify customer information, products, quantities, shipping methods, and delivery destinations.

• Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required shipping documentation.

• Process shipping and inventory transactions using computer systems.

• Maintain accurate inventory records for incoming materials and finished goods.

• Deliver materials and packages to the appropriate departments.

• Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.

• Maintain an organized shipping area and monitor packing supply inventory.

• Follow established safety procedures and assist with general housekeeping.

• Perform additional warehouse and shipping-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, assembly, or a related field preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Windows.

• Experience with shipping systems, customer portals, or inventory management software is a plus.

• Forklift experience or proficiency preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with a team.

Physical Requirements

This position involves standing, walking, reaching, bending, and repetitive hand movements throughout the workday. Employees may need to lift and move packages weighing up to approximately 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
