Job Description:
The Shipping Administrator will support daily shipping and logistics coordination in a fast-paced warehouse office setting. This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working closely with drivers, carriers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments
- Prepare shipping paperwork including bills of lading and packing documentation
- Assist with order allocation and shipment planning
- Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely deliveries
- Support cycle counts and biannual physical inventory processes
- Provide backup support for additional logistics and inventory-related tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or transportation administration
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with logistics or transportation systems preferred
- Strong attendance record and reliability
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, open office environment
Additional Details:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM schedule
- Overtime required during busy periods and inventory counts
