Location: Near Clifton Park, NY
Pay Rate: $19.00 – $20.00 per Hour

Our growing industrial client near Clifton Park, NY is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipping Associate to support daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and material-handling operations.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to build valuable experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The successful candidate will help ensure customer orders are accurately prepared, safely packaged, and shipped on schedule.

This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity with the potential for long-term employment. Key Responsibilities
Shipping & Logistics

• Coordinate the preparation and shipment of customer orders, products, materials, and supplies
• Verify orders for accuracy before shipment
• Track, trace, and update the status of outgoing shipments
• Prepare products for transportation according to company procedures
• Consolidate customer orders into crates, pallets, or other appropriate shipping containers
• Ensure products are packaged and secured properly to prevent damage during transit
• Work with team members to prioritize shipments and coordinate daily logistics

Inventory Control

• Maintain accurate inventory records through barcode scanning and manual counts
• Verify product quantities and shipping information
• Assist with inventory counts and investigate discrepancies
• Update inventory and shipment information in company systems
• Maintain accurate documentation related to shipping and material movement

Material Handling

• Safely move products, materials, and equipment throughout the facility
• Operate warehouse equipment such as:
  • Forklifts
  • Pallet jacks
  • Cranes
  • Other material-handling equipment
• Assist with lifting, loading, unloading, and positioning products
• Follow proper procedures when handling heavy, oversized, or awkward materials
• Apply safe lifting, rigging, and material-handling techniques

Customer, Vendor & Driver Interaction

• Interact professionally with delivery drivers, vendors, customers, and other visitors
• Assist with shipment-related questions and coordination
• Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding order status and shipping priorities
• Maintain a professional and positive attitude in all interactions

Safety & Workplace Standards

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Participate in required safety programs and training
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Use warehouse equipment and tools safely and responsibly
• Report safety concerns, damaged materials, or equipment issues promptly

Qualifications
Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new business software
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred

• 1–3 years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, or related experience
• Experience using forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, or other warehouse equipment
• Knowledge of rigging and the safe movement of heavy or awkward materials
• Experience with barcode scanning and inventory management systems
• Mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning new tools and processes
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment

Physical Requirements
This is a hands-on warehouse position requiring the ability to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Load, unload, and move products safely
• Operate warehouse and material-handling equipment
• Work around heavy machinery and industrial equipment
• Perform repetitive physical tasks as needed
