Job Description

Snelling Talent Partners is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping / Warehouse Associate for a growing manufacturing and distribution company in St. Louis, MO.

Accuracy is extremely important in this position, as shipments are prepared using detailed paper packing slips rather than barcode scanners.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and build pallets for outgoing customer and distributor orders.
• Review detailed packing slips to verify product numbers, descriptions, sizes, and quantities.
• Accurately pick, organize, and prepare products for shipment.
• Double-check orders to ensure accuracy before shipping.
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Safely operate forklifts to move and organize warehouse inventory.
• Maintain organized shipping and warehouse areas.
• Identify and report discrepancies in orders or inventory.
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse guidelines.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Forklift experience strongly preferred.
• Must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to accurately match product numbers, descriptions, and quantities.
• Comfortable working with detailed paper packing slips and manually verifying orders.
• Ability to follow written instructions and complete tasks accurately.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn new processes and take direction.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and handle boxes weighing up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to lift, carry, stack, and move products throughout the workday.
• Some lifting above shoulder height may be required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.
• Most packages weigh approximately 20 lbs or less.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience.
• Shift: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.
• Consistent full-time hours.
