Inductotherm Corp. has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Shipping Associate to join our team in Rancocas, New Jersey, Monday-Friday, hours ranging from 5:00am-5:00pm, and may require occasional weekend work as needed.

Job Summary:

The Shipping Associate is responsible for preparing, loading, and shipping outbound freight using both manual methods and material‑handling equipment. This role ensures all items are accurate, undamaged, properly packaged, and compliant with shipping requirements. The position may also assist with receiving activities, assembly or movement of received goods, and the handling, storage, or shipment of hazardous materials. Previous shipping experience is preferred.

This role routinely uses equipment such as forklifts, pallet trucks, cranes, measuring tools, and computers for shipping systems including UPS and FedEx.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position does not have any direct supervisory responsibilities.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform shipment preparation and loading using manual processes, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
  • Inspect materials for damage; verify order accuracy, labeling, and quality before shipment.
  • Demonstrate strong basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and working with fractions.
  • Read and use measuring tools such as rulers, tape measures, and measurement formulas.
  • Apply mechanical aptitude, including familiarity with hardware sizes, plumbing fittings, and general hardware components.
  • Safely handle and maintain tools, material-handling equipment, and machinery.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment at all times.
  • Work regularly scheduled hours with the ability and willingness to work reasonable overtime.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Good basic math skills; ability to read measuring devices such as rulers, tape measures, and formulas.
  • Ability to listen to and understand spoken information.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
  • Quick hand and arm movement with the ability to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Ability to work at heights up to 25 feet and no fear of heights.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license and be able to drive an automobile.
  • Ability to maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous shipping experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must have good perception, able to see details at close range and be able to distinguish between colors.
  • Ability to stand for 8-10 hours and safely climb.
  • Must be very coordinated, dexterous, have good strength (able to use both hands) and able to lift/move objects weighing up to 50lbs.
  • Must make us aware of any surgical implants, pins, braces or other devices that could be affected by induction fields.

Salary:

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications.

Salary Range: $19.37 - $23.69/hour
