Shipping Clerk & Driver

Position Overview

The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for supporting daily shipping, and receiving operations while ensuring products are handled safely, accurately, and delivered on time. This role also includes local pickup and delivery responsibilities using a company box truck, along with providing general shop support to help maintain efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.
• Package products according to customer and company requirements.
• Prepare and coordinate shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Load, unload, and move materials using material-handling equipment and tools.
• Perform local product pick-ups and deliveries using a company box truck.
• Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and keep work areas organized.
• Support production operations through part cleaning, deburring, polishing, and other shop-related tasks.
• Follow quality, safety, and housekeeping standards while contributing to a team-oriented work environment.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
• Valid drivers license with a strong driving record.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable, safety-focused, and able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
