This entry-level position will perform the disassembly, packaging, and shipping of modular structures and conveyance. If you have experience with carpentry/pallet building, this is the ideal position for you!
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

$1,000 Sign-on bonus; 50% paid after 30 days, and 50% paid after 6 months of employment

Candidates relocating from more than 50 miles from Red Bud, IL facility are eligible for a $5,000 relocation bonus to help cover moving expenses. Employees must remain employed for 12 months to retain the relocation bonus.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Breakdown pre-assembled units and modular structures per shipping schedule and instructions.
Build skids and/or containers as required for protection and safe transport to the final destination.
Pack disassembled components for shipment per instructions.
Stage packed components for shipment.
Operate a forklift within the safety procedures and policies prescribed.
Operate other department equipment including: saws, shrink wrapper, banders, nail guns, etc.
Regular attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.
Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and work in accordance with established safety and company requirements.
Qualifications:
KNOWLEDGE/ SKILL/ ABILITY/ EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred.
One (1) to two (2) years of manufacturing and/or industrial construction experience is preferred.
High mechanical aptitude is required.
Experience with handheld tools (drill, circular saw) and assembling parts is required.
High level of energy and motivation.
Must be able to read a tape measure.
Ability to read blueprints is preferred.
Supplying personal tool requirements per department list is required.
Strong math and problem-solving skills are required.
Must be able to perform job responsibilities at heights.
Ability to operate a forklift and crane is strongly preferred; previous experience is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours, including but not limited to frequent and mandatory overtime, and weekends, is required.
Must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, both hourly and management, in a team environment.
