Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join their client's team in Nevada. This position is ideal for candidates looking for a temp-to-hire opportunity within the Operations department. The Shipping Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of shipping activities, including handling small parcels, international shipments, and freight.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing strong shipping experience to manage small parcel, international, and freight shipments effectively.
• Maintaining a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all shipping documentation and procedures.
• Working collaboratively with team members to support the Operations department's goals.
• Remaining open to coaching and continuous improvement in shipping processes.
• Exhibiting a strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and accurately.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in shipping or a related field is highly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently as needed.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Proficiency in managing shipping software and tools is a plus.

Required Work Hours

The Shipping Clerk will be expected to work Monday through Friday during first shift hours.

Additional Details

The pay range for this position is $20.00 to $21.00 per hour, with the final rate being confirmed upon offer.
