Shipping Clerk

Pay: $20.00–$23.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:30 PM
Flexibility: Must be able to start as early as 4:00 AM when needed.
Job Overview
HireCall is seeking an experienced Shipping Clerk for a manufacturing facility in Tulsa, OK. This position is ideal for someone with experience in shipping, receiving, data entry, and shipping software who is detail-oriented and comfortable communicating with customers and coordinating daily shipments.
The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, and able to manage shipping documentation while helping ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on schedule.
Responsibilities
Process shipping and receiving documentation, including purchase orders and invoices.
Scan documents into the company's cloud-based CORE system and assign documents to the appropriate invoices.
Ship small packages using FedEx, UPS, and other shipping services as needed.
Coordinate daily pickups and deliveries with dock operators.
Locate customer orders and provide estimated shipping dates in response to inquiries.
Learn and navigate accounting software, shipping portals, and internal systems.
Respond to customer concerns and assist with resolving issues when the Customer Relations/Account Manager is unavailable.
Communicate customer concerns to the Account Manager and/or E-Coat Quality Department.
Maintain accurate records and ensure shipping information is entered correctly.
Provide professional customer service and help maintain positive customer relationships.
Qualifications
Previous experience in shipping, receiving, and data entry required.
Experience using shipping software, shipping portals, and computer-based business systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing documents and entering information.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, analyze information, and resolve routine issues.
Dependable attendance and flexibility to accommodate occasional early start times.
Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with other departments.
Work Environment
Manufacturing facility with potential exposure to dust and airborne material particles.
Temperatures may become warm or hot during certain times of the year.
Moderate to loud noise levels; hearing protection may be required.
