Shipping Customer Service Associate

About the Role:
The UPS Store #5105 in New Haven, CT is looking for a friendly and motivated Shipping Customer Service Associate to join our team! In this role, you'll be the face of our store — helping customers with their shipping, printing, and business service needs every day. Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with domestic and international shipping services including UPS, USPS, 
• Process and track packages, handle returns, and manage drop-off shipments
• Operate printing and copying equipment to fulfill customer print orders
• Provide notary, mailbox, faxing, and other business support services as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store environment
• Handle POS transactions, process payments, and balance the cash drawer accurately
• Resolve customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and efficiency

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior customer service, retail, or shipping/logistics experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer proficiency; ability to learn proprietary shipping software
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy retail environment
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs as needed
