Job Description

TITLE: Forklift Driver

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Operate in a safe and efficient manner. Facilitating the movement of product and raw materials from one location to another, properly load and unload trailers, as well as properly pull product for shipping to customer.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school graduate or equivalentGood oral and written communication skillsForklift Operator CertificationEnsure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessaryCapable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Compliance with company policies and safety guidelines.Follows established procedures including standard operating procedures (SOP's), and safety proceduresBasic forklift operation. Properly complete Forklift PM Checklist at the beginning of their shiftBecome familiar with various customer product and where and how they are to be stored.

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

Hazards, such as moving machinery

TRAINING:

Safety in the Workplace Rules and Regulations.SOP's.
