Shipping & Receiving Associate #26-27831

Duration: 3-month contract
Daily Schedule: Standard 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST,40 hrs/week
Overtime expectation: 5 hours OT/week expected to tackle backlog

Job Description

• Shipping and receiving of Advance Replacement products

Task Breakdown and Workflow

• Access order queue, print UPS customer shipping and return labels, package items into boxes, conduct inventory counts, package and ship 100–150 parcels/day.

Work environment

• Fulfillment center floor

Does the role involve direct exposure to any of the following in the course of regular duties?

• Heavy machinery or powered industrial equipment (e.g., pallet jacks)
• Repetitive physical tasks (lifting, bending, reaching)

Top 3 Must Have Hard Skills

• Laptop / Basic Excel experience
• Read and follow English language instructions
• Ability to use shipping software
• Able to meet a shipping rate of 100 per day or a receiving rate of 150 per day
• Logistics, shipping, or warehouse experience
• Ability to perform manual tasks / lift packages to 50 lbs and follow instructions

Nice to haves

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel reporting).
• Prior experience with UPS World Ship software
• All basic required skills
• Able to use small tools consistent with the shipping process
• Accuracy in labeling

Years of Experience

• 6 months to 1 year of fulfillment center, warehouse, or shipping experience.

Performance Indicators

• Target: package and label 100–150 customer orders/boxes per day.
