Responsibilities: 

·    Deploying the Policies and Procedures as directed by the Materials Manager.

.    Deploy Shipping & Receiving duties using LEAN Principles to mitigate risks to PDT with respect to support continuous flow

.    Track and report key functional metrics KPIs as directed by the Materials Manager.

.    Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, segregates damaged items, records shortages, and communicates with purchasing to rectify damages and shortages.

Requirements: 

·   High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

.   Years’ experience in LEAN Principles, i.e. Kanban, consignment, demand flow and lean manufacturing in a make-to-order or make to stock environment is preferred

.   Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles - Identifying and eliminating waste from Materials

.   Forklift certification, Hammers - Claw hammers, Hoists - Power hoists, Pallet trucks - Pallet jacks; Pallet transport trucks

Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
