Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

Job Type: Full Time
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 7 pm
Expected Hours: 40+

Our client is a food packaging manufacturer looking for a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to assist the maintenance department, inventory team, and parts room in keeping accurate records and ensuring the timely flow of MRO orders.

* Receive deliveries and inspect their condition. Verify item descriptions and quantities against purchase orders, packing slips, and other receiving documents. Document shortages, overages, incorrect items and damage.
* Provide backup support for outbound shipment scheduling, carrier communication and shipment tracking.
* Maintain accurate ERP and transportation management system data, and organize receiving and shipping records
* Support cycle counts and annual physical inventory while coordinating inbound delivery appointments



Must have a working knowledge of purchase orders, packing slips, inventory transactions and warehouse processes and be able to use Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word;
Must have the physical ability to do the job
Must have a High school diploma or GED
