Summary: The Shipping and Receiving Specialist plays a key role in warehouse operations by managing the flow of materials and finished goods. This position is responsible for accurate receiving, inventory tracking, quality inspections, packaging, and shipment of parts and products. The role also supports general warehouse and office tasks as needed to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient operation.
Primary Responsibilities:
Receive incoming parts and products, verify accuracy, and update inventory records.
Conduct basic inspections and quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials.
Prepare, package, and ship finished goods and components per company and customer requirements.
Ensure all shipments are packed securely to prevent damage in transit.
Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely to move products throughout the facility.
Maintain documentation to ensure compliance with company quality and traceability standards.
Support inventory control by organizing warehouse storage and participating in cycle counts.
Follow all safety protocols, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.
Participate in team projects and contribute to a positive, respectful work culture.
Perform additional tasks or assist other departments as assigned.
