Job Summary Responsible for overseeing daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure accurate, timely shipments and compliance with customer requirements, company policies, and safety standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise shipping employees, assign tasks, and monitor daily performance.
Coordinate shipping schedules to meet production and customer delivery deadlines.
Ensure products are properly packaged, labeled, documented, and shipped accurately.
Maintain accurate shipping records and inventory transactions.
Coordinate activities between shipping, production, materials, and quality departments.
Resolve shipping discrepancies, shortages, and delivery issues.
Train employees on procedures, equipment operation, and safety requirements.
Monitor productivity, shipping accuracy, and on-time delivery performance.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain a safe, organized work area.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in shipping, receiving, or manufacturing operations.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of inventory systems, shipping documentation, and material-handling equipment.
