Eaton's Electrical division is currently seeking a Shipping Supervisor to join our team in Richmond, VA. Relocation assistance available to Richmond, VA within the US.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $86,000 - $126,000 a year.

The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for ensuring effective on-time receipt and shipment of all material through management of shipping / final assembly personnel, proactive communications with internal / external partners, strategic planning / forecasting of expected demand and associated logistics needs, and alignment with production schedules for assigned locations.
What you'll do:
- Drive a Zero Incident Safety Culture and ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures. Align departmental operations with Eaton's Quality Management System (QMS).
- Lead the shipping and final assembly operations, prioritizing production requirements to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Foster a high-performing team environment by developing direct reports through coaching, problem-solving skill development, and cross-training opportunities. Promote collaboration across shifts and with peer supervisors.
- Facilitate daily accountability meetings (e.g., Tier meetings, GEMBA walks) with cross-functional teams to review performance, address issues, and drive continuous improvement. Lead weekly department meetings to communicate safety topics, business updates, and policy or procedural changes.
- Partner with the Management Team to plan staffing needs, support onboarding and training of new employees, and administer the job bidding process. Monitor employee performance and provide coaching on safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and overall compliance.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of international and domestic shipping documentation, including customs paperwork, broker coordination, and commercial invoices.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to coordinate shipment schedules, resolve logistics issues, and ensure efficient material flow.
- Oversee completion of daily standard work across all shipping areas, including label creation, shipping checklists, system transactions, barcode verification, order preparation, physical counts, staging, and documentation (e.g., MSOs, waybills), while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of plant and business objectives.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution OR five (5) years minimum experience working in a warehouse / logistics or supply chain role in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of three (3) years experience working with SAP
- Minimum of three (3) years working in a supervisory role
You will set yourself apart by demonstrating some or all of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Materials Planning, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operation within manufacturing
