Shipping Team Member

Salary Range: $16.50 – $21.50 / hour

Job Summary

Join our distribution hub as a Shipping Team Member. You will finalize shipments, coordinate with freight carriers, prepare critical logistical documentation, and ensure all outbound orders depart error-free.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare bills of lading (BOL), shipping manifests, and customs documentation.

• Verify all packages against carrier requirements (FedEx, UPS, DHL, LTL).

• Coordinate pickup times with commercial drivers and transport companies.

• Operate stretch-wrappers, scales, and strapping tools to prepare pallets.

• Track outbound workflows and log completion status into the shipping ledger.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience with logistics software, shipping portals, and carrier applications.

• Knowledge of LTL shipping practices and freight classification rules.

• Strong organization and communication skills to interface with drivers.

• Ability to thrive under strict cutoff times and high shipping volumes.

• High school diploma or vocational training.
